As a recent graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, my journey has been both challenging and rewarding. I pursued this dynamic field to gain a robust foundation in various programming languages and technologies.My curriculum at A&M allowed me to delve deep into languages such as Python, C++, and C, applying them in practical scenarios to create projects and optimize systems. I also gained exposure to languages like JavaScript (React.js, Node.js), HTML/CSS, Java (Java.FX), SQL, Verilog, and MATLAB, which I used to design and execute class projects.One of my significant projects involved Hyperspectral Imaging as part of the Aggie Research Program. Guided by a PhD student and collaborating with other undergraduates, I had the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge to improve systems using C++ and CUDA. Additionally, using software like GitHub and Docker enhanced my team communication skills and project development speed.Through my roles at TEAM Enterprise, Aggie STEM, and Primrose, I honed a powerful set of soft skills that resulted in positive employee reviews. These experiences equipped me with strong communication skills, leadership abilities, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills. They also provided me with insights into business operations, team building, and goal accomplishment.
