Summer Intern for the Connected Vehicle Software Update Data Engineering Team. I developed the Time Zone Identification and Automated Conversion Project, a data product designed to extract, transform, and standardize timezone data to UTC. This tool leveraged vehicle software update data and multiple other data sources, enabling the team to gain deeper insights into connected vehicles by identifying their recent time zones.Utilized Python, PySpark ,and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within a Jupyter Notebook in a Miniconda3 environment to build and deploy this big data processing tool. Additionally, created data visualizations and transformative diagrams to support analysis.Responsibilities included preparing and delivering weekly reports, providing data engineering insights to management, and presenting a comprehensive 60-minute project summary to all software development teams within the Ford system.

Summer Intern for the Product Development-Voice of Customer Analytics Team (formally known as Enterprise Connectivity). While on the team I served as the sole developer for two key projects: 1. Ford Advanced VIN Search ApplicationDesigned and developed a Java-based application that functions as a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) aggregator. The application retrieves essential vehicle data from multiple databases and consolidates it into a central, user-friendly graphic interface. It also supports inputs from multiple CSV files, storing data in a secure, temporary SQLite database accessible only on-premises and from my laptop. Leveraged complex SQL operations for efficient data extraction and transformation. 2. JIRA Cloud Ticket Web Scraping ToolBuilt a Java-based tool using Selenium to scrape data from in-house JIRA Cloud boards. The tool is highly customizable, allowing the team to extract various data elements as needed. It was designed to streamline workflows and support the development of innovative data products.I also participated in Software Quality Assurance byreviewing user feedback from the FordPass app across various vehicle lines. Manually classified the severity of bugs for thousands of entries, categorizing them by vehicle part and vehicle line. This data was subsequently used as training data for an advanced machine learning model, enhancing automated bug detection and classification.In addition, prepared and delivered daily, weekly, and monthly reports, along with ad-hoc reports detailing data findings.
