When I applied for work at Chick-Fil-A, I had yet to learn how well I would flourish in customer success. I enjoy building connections and rapport with customers I speak to, both on the phone and in person. As I rose through the ranks, I was placed in a position where I would coach new hires by providing consistent, positive feedback, and I enjoyed watching them succeed. My goals were more than to set a good example in the workplace by showing up consistently on time and being reliable to work long hours, but also by embodying values I hold dear even when I was not on the job. I still find myself saying “My pleasure,” when someone says thank you. I genuinely love the work environment I had there and have brought that consistent, confident, caring and thoughtful values to any work environment I am in.
