  I was born in Chimbote, Peru, and migrated to New Jersey in 1984.Currently I work for Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States, as a Marketing Manager of Frozen Foods. I began working there in October of 1993, as a salesman in New Jersey and New York. Through my hard work, in 2002, I was promoted to a sales supervisor position. In 2004 I was promoted to a senior level position, which is the position I still hold at Goya’s new facility in Jersey City. Prior to working for Goya, I held various jobs in the food and trucking industry. I was a sales rep for Inca Foods, in NJ, a Peruvian Food & Beverage company.(1984 to 1993)Over the years, I have volunteered at several organizations, including Canstruction, in which I helped to raise funds and food donations to fight hunger in New York and New Jersey, as well as the Consulate of El Salvador in NJ activities such as the registration of TPS . I also participate in various Salvadorian and Peruvian festivals.I am a Member of the “Soka Gakkai International” (SGI-USA), a Buddhist community and organization that promotes world peace through chanting Nan Myoho Renge Kyo.I enjoy being active and am an avid bike rider and am learning how to golf.
