Develop the annual TEDxUGA event, which hosts 700+ guests. The event has released 138 TEDx Talks over 11 years & has a global audience of 6.4 million people.Formulate & manage the rigorous timeline for the event’splanning, execution, & post-production.Utilized G Suite to streamline event planning by devising spreadsheets, documents, & forms for tracking progress, categorizing data, collecting constituent information, managing class grades, & more.Guide the presenter selection process by reviewing 300+ nominations, communicating with all nominees, & planning & conducting 18 interviews.Facilitate & curate the ideation, content creation, & delivery of 9 annual presenter TEDx Talks. Instruct New Media & TED, an upper-level course with an average of 18 students who facilitate presenter curation.

I aid in the yearlong planning, execution and post-production of the annual TEDxUGA event, which has released 129 TEDx Talks over 10 years and has a global audience of 6.1 million people. I oversee the nomination and presenter selection process, and curate 9 annual presenter talks by aiding on the ideation, content creation, development, and delivery of their talk.I also serve in the leadership team of the TEDxUGA Steering Committee, which oversees all the decision making for the event, and conduct the communication among the TEDxUGA Student Council, Advisory Council, and Class.

In this role, I assist with the operations of the NMI, the largest interdisciplinary certificate and graduate program at UGA, with over 600 students. In addition, I lead class discussions, grade assignments, and assist with content lectures for NMIX 4200/6200: New Media & TED, an upper-level course with an average of 18 students.

The New Media Certificate is equipping me with the necessary skills to become "technowledgeable." I am gaining an understanding of new media technologies and learning how to apply them in various fields. By taking hands-on courses like web development and app development, I have gained experience developing with HTML, CSS and Xcode/SwiftUI, using frameworks like Bootstrap, and designing with CMS Iike WordPress. Visit Athens promotes the Classic City as a destination through owned content and media relations. My main responsibilities were creating and scheduling social media content for @visitathens, growing organic engagement through TikTok and Instagram Reels, and drafting and updating blog posts based on our SEO strategy. Other responsibilities included attending and promoting events and capturing new photo and video content as able. During my time as an intern I increased social media engagement by 67%, total net audience growth by 277%, Facebook’s post link clicks by 79%, and short-form video content views on TikTok and Reels by 234%.

Responsible for opening car and home insurance policies, making payments, and assisting customers with questions or concerns regarding their policies. Handled administrative responsibilities like filing documents, entering monetary data, and managing email.

Responsible for checking out and offering the TJX Credit Card to all customers. Ensuring that money is handled properly and store polices are followed. Additionally, responsible for helping out anywhere I am needed in the store, like putting out merchandize or greeting customers at the entrance of the store.

Responsible for managing the SGA social media accounts and website. Keep students informed about programs, resources, initiatives, and/or enacted legislation sponsored by SGA. Finally, provide leadership to communications team.

Responsible for assisting the communication team. Some common responsibilities are proofreading newsletters, entering data, editing the school system website, and contacting community members.
