Helped create and run Access Green, a provider of home energy efficiency retrofits and weatherization. Accomplishments included:>> DC Chamber of Commerce's "Small Business of the Year">> Directed business strategy and contract acquisition. Notable business: various engagements (audits, envelope improvements, and lighting retrofits) via utilities PEPCO, DC.

Created and ran Green Builders Council of DC. An organization of 30 commercial contractors and builders, GBDC advocated for green building policies and executed clean energy pilot programs.>> Successfully advocated for public policies that spurred new green infrastructure investments.>> Developed and helped manage one of the largest green jobs training.

Performed various managerial roles for political and advocacy campaigns. From directing paid communications for PACs, to field management for federal and local campaigns, to my own race for DC Council.
