I was responsible for integrating teams from the US, Spain, and Israel, and turning them into a cohesive team, and done that successfully.In addition, I was leading the integration and development of the company's e-commerce platform, generating more than $100M per year.Following the merger of Tourico Holidays with HotelBeds and GTA, and following a long selection process, I was selected to lead the new e-commerce team. The team was responsible for the development, of an e-commerce solution, and its operation and growth. My responsibilities were to define the strategy and lead the teams - product development, developers, marketing, business development, etc.The transition from working in a startup environment of Last Minute Travel (inside of Tourico Holidays) to leading a segment of a large corporation was fascinating. Having to keep people driven and engaged through a long term of uncertainty (due to the merger), in several places around the globe, was challenging and rewarding at the same time. -
