As an Information Systems & Business Development Manager at Ripmax Ltd, I was responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that improved business processes and drove growth. My role involved managing & developing the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system, customising dynamics AX functionality, e-commerce sites and web applications, and creating business intelligence dashboards to support decision-making.I also developed advanced reports in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets using advanced queries, built software engineering solutions to streamline workflow processes, and engaged with end-users to define requirements and gather feedback. Additionally, I coached and encouraged colleagues to embrace new technology, developed digital learning curriculums and delivered workshops to promote technical skills development, and provided technical support to users as a subject matter expert.As part of my role, I also chaired weekly company meetings to share progress and drive company strategy forward, and project managed and implemented legacy system upgrades and on-premise app migrations to the cloud. As a Computer Science and Informatics lecturer at London South Bank University, I led the User Centered Design course, managing two tutors and a cohort of 70+ students. In this role, I delivered lectures, seminars, and workshops, while also working with learning content management systems such as Moodle, Mahara, Canvas, and Turnitin. I developed a detailed module plan and curriculum for tutors to follow and designed interactive exercises for tutors to implement and students to follow. Furthermore, I interacted with student record systems to log assessment grades, assessed student submissions, and provided structured feedback. I collaborated with colleagues across the university on real-life projects and embedded them within the teaching. I also coached students through paid placements and how to use technology to achieve goals.To engage students, I devised creative ways through digital tools such as Mentimeter and Padlet. I mentored and encouraged academics to teach creatively through the use of digital technology and delivered presentations to explain digital learning concepts and goals. I contributed to the development of a massive open online course (MOOC) and assessed learning tools and technology that could be used to aid and enhance teaching.In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I championed topics and encouraged expression around Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. As part of my commitment to social inclusion, I was involved in a project that promoted technology to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and I am proud to have been a part of this initiative that made a positive impact on the community. Finally, I was involved in Teaching Quality and Enhancement course validation activities and open day activities promoting the university and the School of Engineering.
