Finding Antidotes: Navigating Museum Funding in Times of Toxic PhilanthropyIn this research, I delve into the question as to how Dutch museums (intraorganizationally) interpret and respond to conflicting social-economic institutional demands as they become increasingly reliant on private funding.

Simulacrum is a 33 year old magazine for arts and culture that serves as an accessible and high-quality publication platform for graduates and experts from the field. Four issues are published each year, each time with a specific theme. The subjects are always approached from different disciplines within the arts and cultural sciences, and placed in both historical and contemporary perspective.

- Coördinated and communicated sustainable initiatives of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. - Co-organized a Sustainable Career Event in Pakhuis de Zwyger with 10 sustainable organizations for students from the UvA, HvA, VU and ROC.- Involved with several small tasks during the year, heightening the sustainable awareness of Vu students.

Sonsbeek '16 was compiled by curatorial collective ruangrupa (Jakarta, Indonesia), whose approach to art stems from a social and personal perspective, and attracted 140.000 visitors. During my internship I maintained in person contact with artists, organization members and visitors at the exhibition sites in park Sonsbeek and Arnhem's city centre.
