Dr. William “Joe” Shirey is President of ISE Consulting, a small organizational development firm helping organizations to manage change through strategic planning, executive coaching, and improved leader-follower communication. Prior to founding ISE Consulting, Dr. Shirey was a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst with Lockheed Martin and served in the Air Force as a fighter pilot, Squadron Commander, and staff officer, retiring as a Colonel as the Director of Staff for Operations (A3) at Air Combat Command in 2001. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Masters in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S Air War College, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.Dr. Shirey stays current in his consulting work by serving as an Adjunct Professor for Norwich University, teaching courses in Strategic Organizational Behavior and Strategic Communication.
