John Deere is one of the most recognized companies producing agriculture and construction equipment around the globe.Position Description:Planned, designed, executed, and delivered strategical projects based on stakeholder requirements like production capacity increase, innovation, cost reduction, and sustainability.Key achievements:* Guided the manufacturing department to implement a nitrogen generator destined to supply gas for fibre-laser cutting machines. Eliminated the factory nitrogen gas supply chain, and generated savings of around $200K per year. Reduced around 29 tons of CO2 emissions per year.* Launched a state-of-the-art steel-cutting process by updating press equipment to a fibre-laser machine. Improved process safety by 80% and obtained material usage savings of around $300K per year.* Carried out a restructuring project of two production lines following the “KAIZEN” methodology. Released 200 m2 for production floor layout improvements and new equipment introduction.
