Ifa Isfansyah is an award-winning Indonesian filmmaker and founder of Forka Films(formerly Fourcolours Films). He was selected by the Asian Film Academy in 2006 and got a scholarship from the Im Kwon Taek College of Film & Performing Arts, South Korea.He directed his first feature film, GARUDA DI DADAKU (2009) which draws a great commercial success and his second film, THE DANCER (2011) was awarded Best Director and Best Picture at the Indonesian Film Festival 2011. His directing body of work also includes the martial art film GOLDEN CANE WARRIOR (2014).Since then he has produced SITI (Eddie Cahyono, Telluride 2015), TURAH (Wicaksono Wisnu Legowo, Indonesian Official Entry for Oscar 2018), THE SEEN AND UNSEEN (Kamila Andini, Toronto 2017), MEMORIES OF MY BODY (Garin Nugroho, Venice Orizzonti 2018), YUNI (Kamila Andini, Toronto 2021) and BEFORE, NOW & THEN (Kamila Andini, Berlinale Silver Bear 2022). His latest work is a Netflix original series, CIGARETTE GIRL, an got positive review from the audiences and critics.
