I am very much a marketing oddball. Coming from this hybrid creative agency, in-house & management consulting background, I’ve had an array of experience solving business and communication problems. Truthfully, I’ve always wanted to be in the creative space after I realised my childhood dreams of becoming a veterinary dentist may not come true. Here's how & why I fell into it; My young’n days in advertising taught me how to relentlessly prioritise multiple stakeholder needs and to always keep consumers at the heart of whatever work we create. Some of my global integrated campaigns resulted in;- Reached a Billion people on social- Sold 40 million phone handsets in a year However, I wanted to learn how to solve those gnarly business problems that brands face. This is why I ventured into law school & management consulting where I mastered the art of interpreting large volumes of qual & quan data & provide actionable 'so what' recommendations. A few of these recommendations resulted in;- Reduced net loss of $4 million a month for an FS provider. - Improved market share by 15% for a global fast food giant. Yet something was amiss. I missed creating &implementing things- be this partaking in the chaos before a shoot or experiencing that excitement during concept presentations. It was a no brainer to come back home to marketing.
