In my Co-Founder and CTO role, I liaise with companies to engineer the process of upcycling these materials as well as designing several products like bags, jackets, and caps. Moreover, my research project involves binding microfabric waste with a polymer shell to make lunch boxes. Instead of selling for profit, Threads4Good aims to deliver our upscaled products to underserved communities that truly require them. We’ve employed over 20 workers from Ahmedabad’s forgotten communities: Persons with disabilities and widows who lose their opportunity to earn a livelihood due to societal exclusion. I’ve ensured we pay 1.4 times the minimum wage—a much needed lifeline.We’ve upcycled 1,600 kgs of textile, saved 6.3 million liters of water and donated 2,400 bags to students in need. Raising $2400 for operational costs, we’ve expanded our work to Delhi, Nagpur, Jaipur, and Kolkata and even Toronto, Canada.

Worker on 4 projects including 1 patent in parameter optimization in laser-arc welding, 1 patent in synthesis of novel composite foam, kickstarted self driving division through custom object detection algorithm, and created an automated weld fault detector for proprietary Battery management systems.
