I lead a team of ~30 developers, fostering close collaboration with DevOps, Data, and Testing teams to guarantee high-quality code. I actively address developer concerns and monitor their responsibilities, ensuring a well-functioning development process.I implemented PERT estimation within the team, significantly improving our project estimation accuracy.I designed and implemented an API-first system, the Trust Marketplace, that allows users to leverage third-party checks through a single API.I led the design and development of the Enterprise platform, which builds upon the Open APIs I created in 2017. Enterprise offers reference checks alongside two additional check types. This platform now integrates the additional background checks using our own Trust Marketplace platform.To facilitate continuous merge, I implemented the next iteration of our workflow using feature flags, initially managed with a local database before transitioning the team to LaunchDarkly.During the Voice Project (now Xref Engage) acquisition, I conducted the technical assessment.I led the hiring and development of a 19-person team in Lahore based in a shared workspace, within four months. This included collaborating with the CTO to identify and select top candidates, conduct interviews, and provide on-site training. Additionally, I proposed and implemented an internship program, successfully integrating four interns into the team as full-time members within six months. My efforts were recognized with the first-ever CEO Award in October 2023.In collaboration with the team, I achieved at least 80% unit test coverage for the entire platform, significantly improving code quality.

In this role, I led the DevOps team to leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and deployments. Additionally, I implemented security best practices by conducting regular scans with Tenable.I was also responsible for maintenance of our ISO 27001 certification, working closely with the COO. I was helping her with answering the vendor security questionnaires for our clients on weekly basis.

I led the design and implementation of several projects, including the next iteration of our platform.I proposed and implemented our Open APIs in 2017. This initiative enabled third-party platforms to integrate with ours using these APIs. This project emerged as the top revenue generator in fiscal year 2023.In 2018, we undertook a platform refactoring to enable multi-region support and compliance with GDPR requirements. Additionally, we implemented separate environments and adopted a new development workflow to facilitate smooth operation and deployments. I was tasked with technical assessment during the acquisition of the business called RapidID.

I was hired as the first developer, and second employee at the company.I rewrote the application in Django, moved it to AWS. During the following years I refactored the application into a platform with each app responsible for one clear role. Then I continued to work with the team to further refactor the whole platform into micro-services architecture. I wrote the first integration with Taleo then wrote the integration with Workday. This laid the foundation of the next 13 integrations that we had in the coming years. I wrote the first two 3rd party checks in the platform.

Modifying their PHP/MySQL/Zend/jQuery based software at xref.com.au according to their requirements, working from home.1, 2 or 3 references instead of the mandatory 2 references. Xref life-cycle logging and its display with time calculation added to the system. Mechanism to manually stop any Xref. CSV export of Xref data for an employer and individual Xref's life-cycle. Working on their existing PHP/MySQL/Kohana/jQuery based LMS platform for several clients.Redesigned the reporting engine to be completely parametrized. Automated the reporting using cron system. Wrote the complete UI to setup automated reports. Supporting the day to day bugs and enhancements. Working on the design of the new hierarchy system, which will be flexible enough to accommodate any kind of hierarchy system. Writing a component that will migrate the existing hierarchy to the new one.

Development of Histogen system that allows continuous monitoring of our productions test limits and automated analysis of everyday results to spot any abnormalities. This system also allows viewing histograms on live data and to set min and max filters to help the policing agent. Tools used in this project were C#, WinForms, PHP, CodeIgniter and MySQL.Development of diagnostic TestApp for different firmware running VxWorks and Linux. This TestApp is responsible to run all the different kinds of tests inside the phone and to return the result to the LabVIEW server via TCP/IP. Various kinds of tests include Keypad, LED, Sound, LCD and Touch Screen testing. The TestApp is also responsible for configuring the phones correctly after successful tests and downloading and installation of digital certificates in the phone. Tools used were C/C++ on VxWorks embedded platform.Writing interface DLLs and OCX controls for LabVIEW VIs if required in VC++.Maintaining and synchronizing test code across all our testers in Thailand, China and USA. A Code Management System was designed and developed for this purpose. Its main components include a central database, main FTP server, client FTP servers local to different factory floors, server software to maintain the state of code across all FTP sites, client software to allow proper authentication based check in/check out of the code and another client to monitor the state of deployed code on the testers on the factory floor.Installation, configuration and testing of nCipher NetHSMs along with their servers which are responsible to generate digital certificates for our phones in a secure environment.RAM loadable TestApp for more than six of our IP Phones. Stood 1st in Punjab and 2nd in Pakistan in the FPSC Examination for this post. Designed and developed web interface for the army’s inventory data using ASP.NET (C#) with Oracle. Was responsible for the monthly and quarterly reports generation for the arms, ammunition, field vehicles, staff cars etc. allocation by individual corps. Was also responsible to generate reports on special requests. Was also responsible for working with third party vendors to agree upon detailed requirements for software for GHQ. Also worked on the project to allow live drill-down view of army’s data. Used different graphical charts to show the data separated by corps/divisions/brigades/units and then by type of resources they have.
