Perform electrical safety checks, monitor and suggest upgrades in electrical systems. Order and review performed works. Assist logistical coordinator with technical support on ICT/biomed/electrical/construction/power/vehicles in coordination/projects. Maintain current inventory for the capital. Inform the logistics coordinator in case of any major issue and draw-up all required reporting, in order to keep updated and reliable information that will ease decision-making

Study the ICT market in country, comparing prices and quality of equipment, software and internet providers/services, in order to optimize buying decisions and to ensure local assistance. Identify and implement Information management practices to enhance the system and equipment effectiveness and reliability (check-up, deployment of applications, systems or new ICT standards, maintenance, updating stock of spare parts and equipment and replacing obsolete items when necessary, cleaning, etc.). Plan and provide network security to ensure that appropriate access control is used internally on the LAN/WLAN’s, and to prevent intrusions. Ensure updating and upgrading activities in order to ensure that all the users and their equipment on the network are standardized with respect to virus protection, software, hardware and network configuration. Execute security management protocols (backups, anti-malware updates and software patching; firewall protection; etc.) in order to ensure an immediate operational recovery/continuity in case of emergency and data security & availability. Provide support and training to users (on software, hardware, telecom problems, etc.), ensure fluent communications and the correct use, maintenance and running of IT equipment and networks. Train and supervise local IT assistants in other offices of the organization on daily maintenance tasks and 1st level support, in order to improve ICT staff capabilities and to improve lead time response. Assist direct supervisor with other logistic tasks as needed.
