DecoLab was established in January 1999 as ‘Rathnayake and Sons Constructions’ in Madhiwela, Colombo as a small carpentry shop and was renowned among the villagers for furniture & civil construction services. Amidst many obstacles that arose in the beginning Mr.Nimal Rathnayake, the Director/ CEO of DecoLab, incurred determined efforts to pave the way for the business to flourish, step by step and his work experience, skills, knowledge acquired in the Middle East countries as a carpenter was quite an asset for the long-run of the business. In 2014, his one and only son, Mr. Ishan Rathnayake joined hands with him after completing his BSc.
