Joined KPMG London as Graduate Trainee on the ACA program. Worked in London for 5 years before transferring to KPMG Singapore, to the Business Transformation team in Consulting.• Obtained Chartered Accountancy (ACA) qualification while working in the Financial Services Audit department. Team in-charge from 2nd year of work, dealing with senior stakeholders from the finance team from an early stage. Client portfolio included Credit Suisse, Sun Life of Canada, and a number of Lloyd’s syndicates.• Experienced in understanding business processes, identifying and testing controls and performing audit procedures on the P&L and Balance sheet.• Seconded to QBE European Operations from August 2011 – March 2012, to assist the Regulatory and Finance projects teams with Solvency II implementation, including assessing Solvency II readiness• Member of a thought leadership committee for Lloyd’s Solvency II, providing insights to clients on the current challenges Lloyd’s syndicates are facing in adopting the new regime.
