- Preparation of monthly financial accounts and liaising with many diverse forms of business, planning, organizing and implementing year-end and interim audits.- Prepare, present and interpret management accounts and related reports (reports on capital expenditure, outstanding debtors/creditors, variance analysis) to the Management and the Board of Directors.- Carry out risk analyses on all the financially challenged areas to identify points of vulnerability, points of failure and identify risk avoidance and mitigation strategies and report to the Board of Directors.- Design, develop, implement and monitor new procedures, controls to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the operations.- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports to analyze and interpret financial /numerical data, evaluating alternative courses of action and making specific recommendations; follow up on results and preparation and presentation of briefing papers to the Management;-Submit daily reports on bank balances, trade financing and inter bank transfers, cash flow position and working capital cycle to the Management.- Medium to short-term working capital management including strict debtor’ control, inventory and expense commitment control, cash flow forecasting and monitoring, identification of slow moving and redundant stock, negotiation of credit terms with customers, suppliers and bankers.- Preparation of Budgets, implementing internal controls, managing trade finance activities- Negotiate with banks to obtain better credit facilities and manage bank accounts and loan facilities. - - Negotiate the sources of funding and prudently invest funds in short and long term investment to get maximum returns.- Liaison with Government Regulatory.- Effective negotiations with global suppliers resulted in long -term business partnerships.- Payroll Management
