Reporting to Senior Vice President of E2E Video Services and Operations, accountable for delivering all the aspects of next generation Video platform including design, development, testing and implementation of IPTV technologies.• Leading strong cross-functional team working collaboratively with various Rogers stakeholders (Product, IT, Technology, Infrastructure, Marketing, Finance, CPMO, and Digital Media) coordinating engagement of more than 40 vendors for solution design, integration, configuration and deployment as per current program scope and business requirements.• Accountable for End-to-End IPTV solution design, implementation, configuration, integration and testing in Development and Production environments including network provisioning, operational support, defect management and resolution ensuring high service quality and stability.• Managing multimillion capital and operating budgets to achieve financial targets for IP Video program working collaboratively with Network, Product, IT and Finance organizations.• Planning, designing and engineering of IP video services platforms and applications such as core IPTV systems (Content Management System, Subscriber Management System); linear content acquisition, processing (encoding, transcoding), packaging, protection (DRM), and distribution (Origin, CDN); Video on Demand and Cloud DVR platforms; IP STB and multiscreen client applications for desktop, smartphones and tablets.• Responsible for capacity management and continuous optimization of IP video services performance to meet KPI targets, assure superior video quality with specifically designed and deployed video probes and robots.

Reported to Vice President of Network Services, oversaw Video Engineering departments providing Cable TV services to more than 2 million customers. The role included the design, development, implementation and operational support of Video technologies at Rogers TV.• Led and motivated a team of 45 talented engineering professionals to meet and/or exceed critical business targets in a challenging DTV environment including core DTV control & signaling platforms, Linear Video Broadcast, VOD, Video devices (STB, multiscreen) and value added embedded TV applications.• Directed the development of engineering planning & design specifications for capacity augments, reliability-quality-performance improvements, optimizations, upgrades as well as new technology & product introductions for DTV; capacity planning & management to meet service performance objective; testing, debugging & verification to ensure service stability and consistency; managed capital budgeting, prioritization & authorization to achieve business goals while meeting financial targets.• Oversaw the deployment of current generation video services & platform enhancements and the deployment of the next generation video services & platforms into production.• Built and maintained strong working relationships with key vendors as well as internal departments such as Video Operations, Network Implementation, TD, Video Product Management, NPD, IT, and Finance departments.

Oversaw Broadcast Digital Technology and Systems Integration departments providing service to more than 2 million customers. The role included the development and implementation of technologies to support business strategies and product roadmaps in the highly competitive TV space.

Led a diverse team of various professionals such as Systems and Network Administrators, Database Designers and Administrators, Oracle and Web Developers, Systems operators and programmers.

As an integral member of the production support team, responsibilities included leading the installation and configuration of system hardware and software (servers, desktops), performing evaluation and upgrades for hardware and software, installation and continuous monitoring of network infrastructure services (NIS, NFS, DNS, Mail, NTP, etc.), system and network problem resolution; system security administration and audit; system performance tuning, monitoring and planning system resources, and developing tools (scripts/programs) for system maintenance and activities automation.
