Given the task of finding ways to reduce backroom inventory for the Household Essentials, Disposable Paper & Plastics, and Pet Care Departments our team accomplished the following:-Identified four major root causes of backroom inventory across the supply chain-Created a reporting tool in DOMO that allowed Inventory Analysts to see a granular store level view into how much inventory they have in the backroom as well as how much physical space that inventory occupies-Built an automated defect report in DOMO that identifies instances where quantities being sent to stores are greater than shelf capacity, and therefore driving backroom inventory
