I always thought my dream was to be a Theoretical Physicist, churning complex mathematical equations of Quantum Field Theory in my head. It seemed like an appropriate dream given my undergraduate in Physics. While doing Physics, I always ran into data collected by experiments and simulations. This is when I got interested in comprehending and analyzing vast chunks of data and realized I enjoyed doing it much more than dreaming up complex maths equations.My interest in analyzing massive datasets led me to enrol for a Master's in Scientific Computing and Data Analysis at Durham University, UK. Since then, I have been on a learning journey to learn the various aspects of Data Science and Machine Learning. Data Science has checked all the boxes for my passion as it entails experimentation, analysis, and making informed decisions using the data. Doing data science felt more like following the scientific method to me.I love solving challenging problems using data-driven solutions and seeing the solutions automate the boring jobs, such as collecting data to feed into an ML algorithm. I am really interested in using these data-driven solutions to save valuable dollars, which can be used more efficiently.My specialities include quickly learning new skills and programming languages, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and domain-driven design. I also specialize in machine learning, computer vision, and generative modelling on medical datasets. So far, I have Python, HTML, CSS, C/C++, R, SQL, and Git/Github under my belt. I've started learning PySpark, Hadoop and Microsoft Azure.
