Heathrow Airport, Terminal 2 Campus Development

Stakeholder management role to ensure the entire Information and Control System portfolio is delivered successfully to the complex and diverse Stakeholder requirements on the T2 Campus development programme at Heathrow.• Reported to the T2 Programme Director (ICS) for end to end management of the entire scope of works.• Programme Management included development of business cases for funding (circa £220m) to Scope definition, Requirements capture, Design Assurance, Commercial interface, Package Procurement, Change management (Technical Queries & Concessions), Facilitation of handover activities, end-user acceptance, Transition to service & project closure with multiple suppliers and a resource of more than 100 personnel. • Stakeholder engagement with internal & external stakeholders (e.g. Control Authorities, 26 Airlines / 5 Ground Handlers & Service providers.) • Managed the £21m business change portfolio for including Common Check-in re-fit, Enhanced Security, UK Border force Primary controls and E-Gates, Baggage interfaces, including design of the T2 Break-through Check-in desk. • Developed and Engaged the Passenger Processing Systems package for Security Search (New Model Line), CUSS enhancement, Automatic Ticket Presentation and Self Boarding.• Represented HAL at the ‘Technology & Passenger Journey Group’ and International Airport Peer review. • Actively planned and executed the T2 ORAT trials programme, Airline Moves and Retail readiness.

Heathrow Airport - Terminal 2 Campus Development Programme

• Reported to the T2 Programme Director (ICS) Managed and successfully led the HAL design for T2A Main Terminal, T2B Satellite, Multi-Storey Car Park MSCP2, Cooling Station and associated Terminals and Airfield Infrastructure.• Led the definition, development and procurement of a Design, Manage and Integrate (DMI) consultant. • Provided critical input, assurance and peer review for the T2 ICS construction decision funding paper. • Worked with ARUP and Mott Macdonald (DMI) consultant to develop the procurement strategy and associated packages for the Principal Contractors (CBI) and Specialist Systems Providers (SSPs) for T2• Led a team of 20+ ARUP consultants to deliver a series of critical design studies required for essential direction & briefing on a number of undefined areas of business process/scope for T2.• Developed a standard for delivery of IT/ICS on the Aircraft stands & Apron at T2 for universal application. • Managed the delivery of various enabling projects; e.g. Pier 3 demolition, Europier, Early Stands, Gaterooms and T1 CUSS kiosk deployments, Service removals and T1 Closure.

• Reported to the Project Director for MEP / SAS / ELV for Thermo LLC with the Client/Consultant Engineer for the entire Portfolio of 22 SAS/ELV System Project packages. • Provided overall leadership & management of the Technical Interface Management team & Specialist suppliers/contractors including business & project change, commercials & risk management for AED 1.75 Billion scope.• Developed & Executed the Interface Management strategy for the entire programme, including a digital repository for Identification, reporting & closing of all programme-wide interfaces & MEP co-ordination between all suppliers. • Provided systems assurance, ensuring technical solutions were integrated to meet project objectives.• Drove project closure through T&C, Inspection, Systems Integration / Testing, Training & Customer acceptance, including Operations & Maintenance agreements.
