A walk around the Scottish Cemetery, Kolkata.The Scottish Cemetery Conservation Project, Kolkata April 2020Kolkata Scottish Heritage Trust, ScotlandA Film by Ishita DasAll works at the Scottish Cemetery have been suspended due to the pandemic COVID-19 but KSHT continues to financially support all its on-ground team including consultants, contractors, workers, and the under privileged community that lives, and participates in the various educational and skill building activities organised as a part of the project, around the cemetery. The work will resume as soon as conditions improve. Created visual concepts to communicate ideas of Human Rights to stakeholders of multiple backgrounds. Developed overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, pamphlets, press releases, workbooks and corporate reports.

Facilitated communication work for various humanitarian/development causes, including Disaster Risk Reduction. Articulated complex issues through compelling visuals across illustrations, print, web, film and interactive mediums. Worked closely with content and research team to conceptualise and ideate a wide range of publications, infographics, films, and micro-sites, for a broad spectrum of stakeholders . Additionally, created the visual branding identity for the parent company and its agencies. Clients included UNICEF, World Bank, UNISDR, Plan India, and Concern Worldwide, among others.

Ideated branding solutions for local businesses through research based text and film scripts. Wrote content for interactive corporate presentations for private and government entities. Read complex reports and papers to develop easy to comprehend audio- visual scripts for documentations, documentaries, advertisement campaigns for corporate and state municipal agencies. Major client included the Government of Gujarat, India.
