Assalamu Alaikum and Greetings! Currently, I hold the position of University and Career Counselor at the Australian International School (AusIS) in Dhaka. As the inaugural full-time university and career counselor at this institution, I embrace the significant responsibilities with enthusiasm. Previously, my role was as a guidance counselor at BAF Shaheen English Medium College (SEMC), where I pioneered the establishment of the University Placement Services (UPS). Serving as the UPS coordinator, I oversaw students' career preparations and university applications.My passion lies in working with school students, and I am committed to making a meaningful impact in this domain. My vision is to transform my workplace into a leading hub for providing top-tier university and career services to students. Through diligent efforts, I endeavor to realize this vision. While the career and guidance counseling sector in Bangladesh remains underdeveloped and often overlooked, it offers abundant opportunities for growth and innovation.Recognizing that every student harbors career aspirations, I consider it my duty to facilitate their journey. Having completed the College Counseling Course at IC3, I am well-equipped to guide students through their career and university pathways. My academic background includes a master's in Economics with a specialization in Development Economics, providing insights into the contemporary world. Additionally, a degree in Behavioral Economics enhances my understanding of human behavior. Moreover, an MBA has further honed my skills in communication, marketing, multitasking, negotiation, and public speaking. Recent training initiatives have further bolstered my ability to cater to students' needs.I remain steadfast in my pursuit of personal and professional fulfillment, seeking guidance and blessings from Allah.
