The tool used existing cashflow data to maintain healthy cash positions in major banks in Australia and New Zealand.• Built from scratch an automated bank branch supply/clearance recommendation system to increase the cash logistics efficiency of banks. The system recommended the optimal movements between bank vaults and branches based on recent transaction data.• Automated order creation. Before this system was built, the company’s users manually entered orders in the system. The automation had eliminated this error-prone process, resulting in orders being created exactly as requested by clients and time cost reduced by 40 times. Analysed a year’s worth of recent orders to determine default operational properties to be used on automatically created orders.• Optimised the performance of critical data retrieval systems. Developed music search engine research prototypes under the RMIT Music Information Retrieval Tools Project. Answered questions sent by the readers of MIKRODATA, one of Indonesia's major computing magazines, and presenting them in its consultation column. Also responded questions asked via telephone. Questions were related to software and hardware up-to-date technologies, programming, security, and various other topics in information technology.
