Profile bio

About Mohammed Ishtiaque Khan

Few would have believed (actually, many people still has a hard time believing it) that I would make a jump from a service marketeer/business manager/HOD role to a Sub-Editor role in the country's most famous and renowned English news paper, The Daily Star, and it has been 3 years now. To make things even more charming, I actually work for the 'Bangla' team in The Daily Star, which further raises people's eyes. Apart from my day job, I also do part time translation (Bangla to English and English to Bangla), content creation and consultancy. I have acquired years of corporate and entrepreneurial experiences, which enables me to generate high quality content for prospective clients, and also to improve the operational efficiency of business organizations. Previously, I have done so many things in Telecom that listing them down is a chore, and an eyesore for anyone who is still reading this. If you really need to know, I headed Product, Revenue, Acquisition, Research and International Roaming teams for top operators of Bangladesh, which includes Grameen Phone, Robi, Banglalink and Airtel. I guess you can go through the experiences listed below, and then you will know that I also had a brief stint at a MFS operator and also tried my luck at entrepreneurship.

Listed skills include Telecommunications, Vas, Team Management, Market Research, and 45 others.
