CurrentProject 1:Aim: Develop BSPs (Board Support Package) for Fancom’s Touchplus and Optima projects - Yocto project was used to create BSP using openembedded-core repository as a base and other standard yocto layers required for the project were added as submodules.- Swupdate was used to implement software update mechanism and u-boot parameters were configured to set boot process.- Device tree was modified to configure hardware ports.- Other configurations were done in the custom… Show more Project 1:Aim: Develop BSPs (Board Support Package) for Fancom’s Touchplus and Optima projects - Yocto project was used to create BSP using openembedded-core repository as a base and other standard yocto layers required for the project were added as submodules.- Swupdate was used to implement software update mechanism and u-boot parameters were configured to set boot process.- Device tree was modified to configure hardware ports.- Other configurations were done in the custom linux image based on customer requirements like Networking(SSH, DHCP), touchscreen calibration, backlight brightness levels, docker images, Qt web browser, splash screens, etc.Project 3:Aim: Analyze and optimize the performance of ROS 2 executor- Analyzed working of ROS 2 executor and performed tests to find out bottlenecks in the performance of the executor.- Developed a semi-dynamic executor which gives higher performance than the original ROS 2 executor. - Proposed our executor to ROS 2 TSC (Technical Steering Committee) and was included in the ROS 2 Foxy Fitzroy release.Project 4:Aim: Migrating an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) from ROS 1 to ROS 2.- Working on creating packages and drivers in ROS 2 for various sensors like RPLIDAR, Jupiter sensor, etc.- Analyzing the performance of ROS 2 communication under different setups. - Working on the complete software development cycle from writing requirements and architecture design to the validation of the system.
