He was an Indian Government (ICCR) student in a scholarship for 5 years in Indian classical music division. He also learnt classical music at Shri Ram Bharatiye Kala Kendra under Pandit Deepak chatterjee and Light Classical music under Charanjeet Soni. He has learnt Carnatic Music from Madras University and is also trained in western classical music from Trinity Music College London.He believes that music has no language or boundaries and so he uses all his learning and beliefs to bring in sounds that will leave his listeners mesmerized.
