• Telephone and in-person triage (for symptom management).• Review and act on test results (labs, X-ray, Covid-19).• Review and manage communications from internal and external clients.• Initiate and monitor intravenous (IV) infusions.• Assist or perform procedures as ordered by provider (e.g. ECGs, dressing changes, subcutaneous or intra-muscular injections, sutures, etc.)• Provide patient education before and during discharge.• Assist with management of urgent and emergent patient care situations• Assist with the management of patients with multiple chronic health conditions, acute episodes of care, behavioral health challenges while promoting and supporting prevention and wellness• Nominated for providing above and beyond patient care experience.

• Prepare patients preoperatively for procedures and monitor postoperatively as ordered by physicians.• Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by attending physician. • Monitor and titrate intravenous drips per safe medication administration standards and facility protocols.• Complete Covid-19 testing according to protocol standards and guidelines.• Complete electronic documentation on patients assigned every four hours or as ordered.• Management of epidural infusions post major invasive surgeries.• Follow core measures as indicated for all cardiac and neurological surgical patients• Initiate emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation and advanced cardiac life support.• Attend annual Skills fair as indicated per facility policies and regulations.

• Attend shift bed board and assigned meetings as indicated.• Create and complete nursing and staffing assignments.• Promptly respond to codes such as rapid responses and code blues within hospital per rapid response team protocol. Act as resource and director for all nursing staff on unit.• Complete infection control audits. • Conduct an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on patient’s condition to carry out necessary interventions in a timely manner.• Perform appropriate treatments as ordered by attending physician.

Charge Nurse Duties included intravenous therapies, admissions, scheduling of Staff, assist and act as a resource for floor nurses. Medication administration. Handle and resolve conflicts with patients and/or staff when necessary.

Medication administration to inmates in medical unit and housing units. Assist with daily acute and chronic clinics. Assess inmates as necessary for acute changes as reported and follow protocols. Lab draws and testing as ordered.

Agency nurse assigned to fulfill staffing needs at various locations but not limited to: SNF, LTAC, Clinics, Post Acute Care, Memory care/ Lockdown unit, and behavorial Health units.
