Associate Director, Program Management - Nctn Non-Federal Funding
CurrentResponsible for managing the Alliance NCTN portfolio for Alliance studies with additional financial support from pharmaceutical collaborators that are channeled through the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology Foundation.Grants manager for all Foundation non-federal grant awards (i.e. Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Susan G. Komen Foundation, V Foundation, etc.). Responsible for preparation and timely submission of grant applications and reports, development and adjustment of associated budgets, coordination of budgeted funds, monitoring expenditures, tracking results, and submitting interim/final progress reports. Serve as a liaison between study teams, Finance department, and the foundations awarding grants. Work collaboratively with instructional grant personnel to ensure compliance with grant award requirements.Develop study budgets and SOW’s to present to pharmaceutical companies interested in collaborating with the Alliance on all studies in the Alliance NCTN and NCORP portfolio, including budgets for trials intended to be submitted for a New Drug Application (NDA) with the FDA. Provide support for the Finance department to resolve funding discrepancies and develop strategies for study budgeting to ensure tracking, reporting, and billing processes are established prior to study activation. Manage study budget closeout process to ensure all required activities related to Alliance NCTN and NCORP clinical trials are appropriately reconciled, recorded, and reported at the end of the trial. Perform fair market value (FMV) analysis on all items/services to ensure costs are compliant, per American Medical Association guidelines, utilizing the Physicians Fee Reference (PFR) pricing program software. Work with Alliance contracts team as subject matter expert (SME) on the Alliance NCTN program to ensure obligations contained within agreements are in alignment with the organization’s SOPs and acceptable to the various departments involved.
