I am an MBA student and an Academic Advisor at University of Nevada, Reno, where I support undergraduate students in achieving their academic and personal goals. I have a B.S. in International Business with my emphasis in Marketing and minor in Arabic and Middle Eastern Culture, and I have studied abroad in London, Toronto and Armenia. I have also acquired multiple certifications in diversity, inclusion, belonging, change management, and digital intelligence from Harvard Business Review.In my current role, I employ a developmental and coaching approach to academic advising and mentoring, integrating success coaching concepts such as learning strategies, mindset, and social belonging to optimize student learning and bolster retention and graduation rates. I also contribute to the organization and planning of various events and workshops, using my skills in event planning and business strategy. I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and I value collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. I believe that I can bring a unique and valuable perspective to the team, as well as a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.
