My 1st dept was in Managed Service Team (MS Team) as Managed Service Engineer.*We work 12 hour a time as our business is 24/7. *We perform a daily task such as monitor the server line & patern graph, courier task, health check server & air cond, & back up server. All record will be in update via email for tracking purpose.*We perform format server/physical check up & reboot/mount or dismount server/migration server based on customer needs.*We do a standby MS every month, standby MS will require to attend the office and replace for those staff take a EL/MC/AL/CL.*We also need to assist (eg open/close rack)/monitor & clarify when visitor such require to remove devices from server or add devices into server. *During night shift and off day, we will perform Service desk task as well. Our first step is to create a service request and perform a task depends on customer. We will always refer to SOP to make all task deliver as requested.If there is a unknown/rare or not in SOP. We will verify with standby Sd Team. or else we will escalate to Sd Team for further action.In February 2013, I have been offered & transferred to Service Desk Team (SD Team) as Service Desk Analyst. SD Team will be work during office hour time for 8 hour only.To be clear, we will operate from 8am- 8pm. SD will create a service request for a new customer request. There is more then 7 mailbox that we handles. Our comunication is via microsoft outlook, lotus IBM & etc. Fyi, our customer is from Local & non local.We use a AD and EMC for creation/update detail/deletion/block abuse/whitelist/forwarding email/smtp relay/ restore deleted email/ delegation/ & etc for email system.For Web email system, we also use Owa/webmin/surgemail/zimbra/office 365 & etc for email testing purpose. In Jun 2013, I have been offered to be a standby SD Team. Standby SD Team task is to advise a MS team to perform customer request. If there any limitation on MS Team skill. Sd Team will take over the request.
