As part of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority of Pakistan, I have been assigned several responsibilities. These include:- Regulatory Oversight: To ensure effective administration of licenses and agreements, implement and updated safety standards, and regulate the Oil and Gas Sectors (Mid-Stream and Downstream). I created a conducive business environment for Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), Refineries, Lubricants, Gas, CNG Stations, and other stakeholders.- Oil Supply Chain: To monitor the supply chain of POL products across the country including imports, local production and distribution, transportation, and sales pattern. - Data Management: To develop comprehensive reports and presentations, while maintaining relevant data for informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.- Legal Support: To assist the Legal team to effectively represent my organization decisions before competent forums.- Inspection and Compliance: To manage and maintain close liaison with in-field Third-Party Inspectors, conduct onsite inspections, and inquiries to identify and address any breaches of rules and safety standards, ensuring the highest level of compliance and safety.- Policy Assistance: To collaborate with the government in policymaking, leveraging expertise and industry insights to contribute to the formulation of effective regulations and policies for the oil and gas sector.

As Business Development Manager at Phi Tech Solutions, my role included identifying business growth opportunities and providing technical services. Following are few of my achievements at Phi Tech Solutions:-- Developed and implemented business growth strategies by leveraging technical support for data historian systems, daily data analysis, and machine learning models for real-time data insights.- Enhanced process automation and optimized resource management to drive efficiency and scalability.- Managed contracts effectively to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.- Utilized simulation tools and process historian systems to optimize operations and improve client outcomes.- Conducted client education and technical training to empower users and facilitate the adoption of advanced technologies.

My role included providing technical support and services to our client process industries regarding the following: -- Providing support in Mass and Energy Balance Calculation using Simulation Tools- Assisting in producing Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment, and Process Data Sheets- Assisting in revamping projects and checking equipment under new operation conditions- Conducting studies for process optimization using process simulators- Analyzing process control data using dynamic simulators- Developing technical solutions based on simulation, design, and rating models, integrating DCS for efficient performance monitoring and process parameter prediction downstream- Troubleshooting engineering problems, documenting progress, and communicating findings and solutions to customers- Conducting trainings on Aspen Engineering Suite- Educating client teams through demos, tutorials, and know-how presentations during industrial visits.
