Dr. İskender Kökey (ENG)İskender Kökey, one of the leading names in the wind energy industry, completed his undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in Mechanical Engineering at Dokuz Eylül University. During his undergraduate education, he studied applied physics on photothermal radiometry in France and carried out innovative studies on wind energy in his master's and doctoral theses.Kökey, who has been operating in the renewable energy sector since 2010, is the founding partner and manager of XGEN Enerji, an industrialist in the wind energy sector. Kökey has authored many academic publications and declarations in wind energy and has undertaken NGO managerial duties. He has undertaken various administrative duties in organizations such as the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, the Energy Industrialists and Businessmen Association, and the Turkish Wind Energy Association. Currently, he is the Secretary General of the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TWEC), developing, promoting, and defending the wind energy sector.Dr. İskender Kökey (TR)Rüzgâr enerjisi sektörünün öncü isimlerinden biri olan İskender Kökey, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi’nde Makina Mühendisliği alanında lisans, yüksek lisans ve doktora eğitimini tamamlamıştır. Lisans eğitimi sırasında Fransa’da fototermal radyometri üzerine uygulamalı fizik eğitimi almış, yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinde rüzgâr enerjisi üzerine yenilikçi çalışmalar yapmıştır.2010 yılından bu yana yenilenebilir enerji sektöründe faaliyet gösteren Kökey, rüzgâr enerjisi sektöründe sanayici olan XGEN Enerji şirketinin kurucu ortağı ve yöneticisidir. Kökey, rüzgâr enerjisi alanında çok sayıda akademik yayın ve bildiriye imza atmış, STK’larda yöneticilik görevleri üstlenmiştir. Makina Mühendisleri Odası, Enerji Sanayicileri ve İş İnsanları Derneği ve Türkiye Rüzgâr Enerjisi Birliği gibi kuruluşlarda çeşitli idari görevleri üstlenmiştir. Şu anda Türkiye Rüzgar Enerjisi Birliği’nin (TÜREB) Genel Sekreteri olarak rüzgâr enerjisi sektörünün gelişimini, tanıtımını ve savunmasını yapmaktadır.
