I am a first year human kinetics major and hope to become a sports medicine practitioner. My interests in kinesiology and human kinetics landed me at the University of Guelph where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science Honours majoring in human kinetics. From a young age, health and the human body has fascinated me and continues to to this day.While studying at University of Guelph, I am also playing on the varsity field hockey team where I am further developing my communication, collaboration and leadership skills. Maintaining a competitive average while continuing to succeed on the field has presented many challenges but has allowed me to finesse my time management skills. I have been involved in recreational and competitive sport since early childhood which has contributed to my interest in sports medicine. Following my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend medical school, to strive for a future in sports medicine.

  Undertook instructional duties at various times throughout the Spring and Summer. Assisted the manager with Kelowna Paddle Centre programs and  activities, promoted fun, supportive and well organized programs in a safe environment. Provided instruction to participants while working cooperatively with all coaching staff and volunteers.
