I worked as an associate expert in interagency affairs at the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) New York Office. My main role was to support the interagency team in prioritizing science-based environmental concerns in various interagency processes in different thematic areas. I also acted as a focal person of the UNEP New York Office on Gender, Youth, and Indigenous People and actively participated in environmental discourse that linked with the above cross-cutting issues in intergovernmental and interagency spaces, which aim to accelerate the 2030 agenda. Previously, I have led and supported different evaluation and monitoring processes, data collection and analysis, reporting, and knowledge management for various projects and donors. These projects primarily focus on water, sanitation, hygiene, and gender equality. I have worked with Max Foundation, WaterAid, and ActionAid Bangladesh, collaborating with diverse stakeholders and partners. I strongly believe that enhancing the impact and learning of the UN and civil society organizations contributes to the process of accelerating sustainable development goals.I hold a master's degree in economics from the University of Hull. I received a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship while studying there.
