A dedicated and collaborative III/V semiconductor professional with a strong track record in research, project leadership, and technical innovation. With over 40 journal and conference publications, 4 patents, an h-index of 14, and more than 500 citations, I strive to contribute meaningfully to advancing semiconductor technologies. At Kyocera SLD Laser, I worked as part of a team driving R&D in advanced photonics, focusing on lasers, photodetectors, and high-speed devices for diverse applications. During my time at UC Santa Barbara, I contributed to N-polar III-Nitride electronics research, leading efforts to enhance materials and device performance through gate dielectrics and strain engineering. My academic foundation from UCSB, NCSU, and Cairo University is complemented by hands-on experience in MOCVD growth, device fabrication, characterization (XRD, PL, AFM), and simulation tools like Lumerical, CST, and COMSOL. Grateful to have been recognized with several best student paper awards and fellowships, I am most proud of my ability to collaborate with talented teams to achieve technical excellence.
