My engagement involved undertaking a complex program of over 50 x sites in Western Australia from project initiation to a successful execution.Key Role and Responsibilities (but not limited to):- - Preparing High level cost estimates for client to set budget.- Developing and scheduling overall project programmes (planning, procurement and construction) and mid-range schedules. - Traveled to remote and regional areas in WA to carry site inspections to scope / form bill of quantities for future projects. - Procured tender packages including – implementation strategy, compiling, tendering, subcontractor selection and review, analysis and recommendation.- Preparing Bill of materials and organized their procurement, warehousing and logistics. - Seeking Development Approvals and Building Permits – carried desktop analysis for all sites and liaised with consultants. - Main focal point for field coordination with site managers, subcontractors and consultants.- Project tracking and reporting internally and to the client. - Managed all scope variations for all sites – carrying site walk throughs, seeking client approval and approving subcontractor works.- Cost tracking and controlling throughout project delivery, to ensure project meets its performance targets in relation to budget and accurate monthly reporting.- Inspected sites for quality control and to collate data for project completion deliverables. - Preparing End of month progress claims to client- Verifying and signing off subcontractor and consultant claims - Preparing ITP / Project Completion Documentation for final submission to client. - Managing and tracking defects rectification, and seeking resolution on disputed items to ensure implementation of works close out. - Project closure and final cost reconciliation. Construction Drawings - Marking redlines / as-built drawings of construction work on plans. Document Control - Controlling and ensuring consistent flow of project documents among the team.
