Law enforcement is not just a job for me – it’s a passion that I look forward to fueling every day. My previous experiences dealing with the public range from operating a self-owned retail establishment, entertaining the public through mariachi performances and current law enforcement responsibilities have each aided in the development of above average customer service & people skills. My knowledge, skills and desire to succeed is demonstrated through my current position as a Night Shift Supervisor – a position I promoted to after a short time as a member of the campus police department.  While I am able to take charge of a situation and maintain control, I also recognize the need to train other officers and allow others to shine and am fully capable of serving that mission. In addition, I am very reliable, a quick learner and possess a high level of organizational skills. I learn things quickly and display a positive attitude at all times as I am content at everything I do. My ability to communicate Spanish fluently will serve as a key resource to the department because of the diverse community at Alamo Colleges.
