Proactively investigate, negotiate and resolve marine claims, involving complex issues and/or litigation.Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.Coordinate and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest level of customer service.Responsible for claims processing and administration.Evaluate and address coverage issues and determine appropriate reserving levels.Maintain an active diary.Drive effective subrogation/salvage processes.Ensure that all claims handled within authority limits and in line with our procedures and guidelines.Selects vendors, lawyers, independent surveyors and monitor expenses paid too these vendors to ensure service quality.Ensure the use of best practices and compliance with all Company policies.Review and analyze claim reports to identify and address trends.Develop and implement strategies to correct adverse trends.
