About Ismael Hasan Romero

I worked for 8 years (since 2008) as a Java applications and web applications developer. I have experience in all of the main tasks of software projects (ideas generation, management of requirements, planning, risk management, design, implementation, tests and deployment) from an agile perspective, oriented to obtain showable results from the first stages of the development. Apart from the skills I achieved as a Java developer, I specialized in Information Retrieval, acquiring basic knowledge on the subject from my post graduate studies and expertise in the use of several technologies like Lucene, Nutch, Elasticsearch or Attivio. Between 2016-2020 I worked at Elastic as a Support Engineer, providing consultative and customized support. Afterwards, I worked at Confluent helping customers to be successful with their projects as a Customer Success Technical Architect.For the last years, I have been teaching at University, Vocational Studies and work in instructing, teaching specialized courses at companies.
