Selected by UiTM Engineering Campus to complete 3 months course as RA (Research Assistant) in Germany. Involved in Research and Development project under Prof. Dr. Ing. Bernd Schwarze of Mechanical Engineering Faculty. The project is about producing spiral bevel gear by using CAD CAM software name CATIA V5 and CNC machine. As research assistant, my job is to draw spiral bevel gear with designated specifications with CATIA V5 and also explore the functions and feature in CATIA V5 in producing the NC code for the designated CNC machine name DECKEL MAHO Universal CNC Machine.Learning Point: I had gained the experience working in Germany and involved with educated and skillful people from Germany. This job exposes me more in dealing with CATIA V5 software and also with the Universal CNC machine.
