CurrentAs a managing member of a leading Mediterranean import and distribution company, I have dedicated my career to sourcing and importing delicious Mediterranean products from overseas to help stores increase their sales and profits. My expertise lies in category sales improvement and efficiency in sourcing, negotiation, and shelf placement.I remember my first project with a small store that was struggling to keep its shelves filled with Mediterranean products. I was able to source and negotiate with suppliers, and with the help of an ERP system, we were able to streamline operations and improve the overall performance of the store. The store started to see an increase in sales and the owner was thrilled with the results.This was just the beginning. I went on to work with more stores and implemented the same strategy, but I realized that to make a real impact in the industry, I needed to look at the bigger picture. I started building systems and processes that would improve the entire food supply chain from end-to-end. By identifying opportunities for vertical integration and optimization within the food supply chain, I was able to deliver measurable results to my clients and improve the industry as a whole.I am always on the lookout for new opportunities to improve the industry and bring new, unique products to market.
