In my role as an assistant to the Construction Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the execution of road and utility activities. It is my priority to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company's HSEQ policies and procedures.As part of my role, I review project documentation, including drawings and specifications, and I am involved in project planning, monitoring project progress, and ensuring adherence to schedules. I ensure that site works are executed according to approved detailed drawings, and I regularly conduct inspections to assess the work performance of all subcontractors.In order to maintain site progress, I ensure that necessary materials are available, and I am responsible for maintaining daily and weekly reports, as well as ordering any required materials. I work closely with subcontractors to resolve any technical issues that may arise and to ensure that all inspections and tests are carried out according to project requirements and specifications.To maintain a culture of safety, I ensure regular toolbox talks are conducted at the site, and that all workers are familiar with quality and safety requirements. Additionally, I coordinate with subcontractors to ensure that work is completed without any delay, and I finalize and submit daily programs on a daily basis to the planning department.Overall, my role is critical in ensuring that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
