Ismail Akwei is an international journalist, digital media specialist, media literacy advocate, media viability consultant, media trainer, product manager, editor, writer, and media manager with over a decade of experience working with multinational media companies worldwide.He is the Executive Director of the Media Literacy Development Foundation, a non-profit organisation he founded out of his passion for advancing democratic values through media literacy and community development. The Foundation promotes democratic inclusion through media and artificial intelligence literacy education in Ghana.As a partner at AfricaMediaPro, Ismail Akwei is pivotal in the digital media solutions company that provides advanced publishing and advertising services to online publishers and content creators in Africa. The company founded the Remembers Group managed in Africa by Ismail Akwei to run data-driven memorialization platforms that preserve the memories of African people and events through interactive memorials, articles, graphical timelines, and videos.He also founded AMV Africa, a media viability, events, and tourism consultancy that implements high-quality strategies for global clients.
