Responsibilities:During plant pre-start-up phase: • Participate in loop test and function test activities and raise I&C punch list items and warranty claims as appropriate. • Participate in plant commissioning activities and raise I&C punch list items and warranty claims as appropriate. • Support the continuous improvement of HSEQ policies and procedures. • Review vendor documents, maintenance manuals, and spare parts lists. Draft instrument maintenance procedures necessary for plant operations.During plant operational phase: • Maintain and calibrate all types of field instruments (control/shutdown/blowdown valves, pressure/temperature/level/flow transmitters). • Prepare a master data sheet for preventive maintenance schedules; ensure safe and efficient performance of CM. • Test, maintain, and modify existing control systems (DCS, ESD, SCADA, fire and gas monitoring and protection system, plant instruments, vendor packages, rotating equipment, etc.). • Manage other instrumentation and control engineers and technicians to effectively complete work with attention to detail. • Diagnose problems and consult with others on solutions to unusual, difficult, or complex tasks. • Develop scopes of work for I&C systems. • Perform PST tests for valves Via Valve Link and generate reports. • Ensure that all activities and operations are conducted in accordance with existing safety rules, regulations, and code of discipline, corporate policies, and guidelines. • Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget for the instrument maintenance section, and check budgets on a periodic basis to control expenditures and adhere to the established budget. • Coordinate the procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables from the company's stores and the local market.

Midor Plant

• Follow up on the Instrument Maintenance Program, including corrective and defective work, for the Global Maintenance Program. • Follow up on all field instrumentation, including level, flow, temperature, pressure transmitters and indicators, control valves and all attachment equipment, safety valves, switches, multiplexers, planned and unplanned maintenance, in the production units. • Conduct calibration tests of planned and unplanned instrumentation valves, sensors, and transmitters. • Troubleshoot instrumentation problems at the startup of pumps, compressors, and boilers. • Review work orders and determine maintenance and repair priorities in consultation with related sections. Prepare detailed work programs for preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation, in conjunction with the other sections and the other plant areas. • Participated in the SAT (System Acceptance Test) of the MIDOR DCS Modernization project with Honeywell vendors and conducted functional testing of most I/O's and loop checks. • Attended the company's half shutdown from October 13, 2014, to November 13, 2014. • Attended the company's total shutdown from August 8, 2015, to October 1, 2015. During this shutdown, I was responsible for the management of maintenance work at the utilities unit and the startup of this unit.
