Growing up in Southern Lebanon, I spent my summers amongst my cousins' tobacco fields. I was fascinated with the plantations and the growers, as well as the feel of dirt and tobacco leaves underfoot.While these are some of my fondest memories, it wasn’t until 1996 that my passion for cigars began to take root. I opened H&I Smokers in Canton, Michigan and in the following years, I traveled to far-flung tobacco-growing regions around the world to deepen my knowledge. My vision came together with the creation of a one-of-a-kind luxury cigar lounge, La Casa, in Plymouth, Michigan. Along with our original location, La Casa today offers our excellent amenities in Ann Arbor, MI, Detroit and Las Vegas. My desire to offer one-of-kind experiences also drove me to create my 20 Minutes Cigars line, which successfully launched in Detroit in 2011, and is a popular addition to the large selection of craft cigars from all around the world at La Casa.We’re known as the home of luxury cigars, comfortable smoking lounges, nightly live music entertainment, private VIP membership clubs, excellent humidors -- and as a cozy bar with the best martinis around. Our cigar bar is always a high-quality atmosphere; the talk of the town; where to go to see and be seen. If you are a novice cigar smoker, we will be happy to introduce you to our favorite subject.
