    =>Cross-functional: I joined maqsad as a founding member and led its tech team from pre-launch (growth) phase to retention phase, scaling from 0 users to about 2.5 million users. From day 1, we decided to follow domain-driven microservice architecture principles and test-driven development. Technology stack experience included Docker and Github Actions=> Data Pipelines: Worked closely on setting up the data pipelines architecture, which included DynamoDb, S3, Trino, Data Bricks, Superset and PowerBI. From the product side, I also led the setup of user events in our mobile applications=> Product Analytics, Experimentation and Usability: Worked on the integration with Mixpanel (user events data) and Superset (transactional data) for dashboarding and data-driven decision-making across the organization. A/B/n tests alongwith usability studies were an active part of my role. I helped design our internal tool, Haazir, for such experiments to run dynamically and on top of each other, with system generated sample sizes and statistical significance on the go=> Quality Assurance and Product Acceptance: Our organization philosophy focused on a QA-less model, which meant that everyone involved in the process was supposed to conduct thorough Quality Assurance of the releases at the end of sprints. Alongwith manual testing, we introduced automated testing frameworks such as Appium to increase efficiency and reduce roadblocks

    => Branchless and Digital Banking: Branchless banking is an EMI system focused on banking the unbanked population in the country. I was tasked with technical design and integrations through public/private partnerships such as the Government of Pakistan’s National Database, UNHCR, Telcos and the banks own open-banking ecosystem via APIs to allow for accessible banking for all. In the digital banking space, we positioned ourselves as a neo-bank and was tasked with design and architecture of the system and received the award for Best Digital Bank. Technology experience included C# with .Net Frameowork on MVC and WebAPI on backend and vanilla JS, CSS and HTML on frontend=> Digital Workflow and Process Automation: Designed, planned, and implemented a system to automate digital processes within the bank and reduce its carbon footprint which was heavily dependent on paperwork at the time. Considering its the second largest bank in Pakistan with over 15000 staff and over 1000 branches, each division had its own process workflows that required usability research and scalable software design. Technology experience included Ultimus, manual deployment on in-houseMicrosoft Servers and C# .Net=> Temenos T24 and Infinity Integration as Delivery Manager: Served as a Scrum Masters and Delivery Manager for the multi-million dollar T24 and Infinity integration (ongoing) at the bank to replace its legacy Core Banking and Digital Banking Systems. It was during this time that I also went through the training with bank’s IBM partnership to become a certified Scrum Master to coach/manage the respective tech squads.
