Responsible for the implementation and management of Glidewell Laboratories Import/Export Compliance program and Import/Export group overseeing all day-to-day Import/Export activities within the global supply chain.

Manage and oversee all Import/Export/CHB and warehouse operations. Managed staff to maintain high performance level with customer requirements and satisfaction by implementing policies, procedures and processes. Negotiated and finalized freight contract rates with steamship lines, transportation companies, agents and vendors. In charge of overseeing administrative staff, hiring staff, temp/full time employees and contractors. Responsible for profit/loss reports, forecast revenues, receivables and payables. In charge of acquiring and securing new business, and maintaining existing accounts.Responsible for overall customer relationship during implementation and transition to operation. Responsible for Customs Brokerage department and all Customs related issues. Responsible to process all Protests, SIL's, Marking Notices, RFI's, Notices of Action, and Customs Rejects. Classified products, filed all types of Custom entries, paid daily statements via ACH, and filed OGA entries including FDA, FCC, and EPA.

Solicit new business through outside selling, Arrange sales calls with potential and current customers, Provide rate quotes to customers for services. Contact potential customers primarily in person to persuade them to use your services as their freight forwarder, Recommend changes to current customers regarding their transportation needs.Prepare sales contracts for new accounts, Ability to be aggressive in closing the potential customer and effectively influence others through various methods especiallyusing my import/export expertise. Compile lists of my own prospective customers for use as sales leads.Successfully grow the business primarily through generating sales leads, soliciting new accounts through face to face meetings and presentations, increasing the services providedon current accounts, and selling all services a forwarder has to offer.

Perform all phases and aspects of Customs Brokerage for over 20 close clients.Includes everything from getting the initial business to handling client's shipments from destination to their door with every step in between w/an extremely high level of customer service. Excellent knowledge base with close attention to detail, with experience in all aspects of Customs Brokerage and Logistics.

Process inbound commercial paperwork on behalf of customer with U.S. Customs. Quotation negotiation to profit yet maintaining high level of customer service. Specialize in Wearing Apparel, Footwear, Electronics and General merchandise entries. Training night shift employees, explaining import basics to advance customs rulings.Maintain quality service, high level of expertise in all areas of U.S. Custom's regulations including the entry, invoicing and documentation reviews.
